I’ve been working in the web design industry for close to 15 years now and I still love it and it still challenges me every day. Over the years I’ve become interested in how I could use marketing strategies in my design work, so I went to Johns Hopkins University to learn just that. Combing through the sales aspects of my marketing study program, I have found a great deal of psychological aspects of attracting the customers and projecting brand personality through color and language being quite applicable to my field. Enter interactive designer = UX, UI, Content, Strategy….etc.
WHERE I AM NOW
In my last job, I was working as Interactive Director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. I have lead internal and external teams, collaborated A LOT with all kinds of professionals (writers, strategists, graphic designers, developers, fellow designers) and designed-designed-designed. I’ve written articles on various topics related to my field and taught a UX class.
I always attend design conferences and industry events, so stay in touch and lets connect!
