I’ve been working in digital design industry for over 15 years now and I still love it and it still challenges me every day. Over the years I’ve become interested in how I could use marketing strategies in my design work, so I went to Johns Hopkins University to learn just that. Combing through the sales aspects of my marketing study program, I have learned a great deal of how to “sell” an idea, a brand through the use of color, how to do qualitative research, how to connect with clients and “sell” to their audiences.
Then, over the new few years, I had gone from UX design to UX strategy as I had become interested in building products and experiences with sustainability and scalability in mind.
WHERE I AM NOW
Currently, I am Sr. UX Strategist and Designer at Booz Allen Hamilton. I am working with clients and with internal leadership on design strategies and also providing my subject matter expertise to the internal leadership on various strategic investment and business development efforts. Within my UX practice I use Design Thinking and Human Centered Design methodologies and on the team level, I help integrate UX into Scaled Agile or Agile frameworks.
